What is FIRST LEGO League Jr.?
FIRST LEGO League Jr. is designed to introduce STEM concepts to kids ages 6 to 10 while exciting them through a brand they know and love − LEGO®.
Guided by adult coaches and FIRST® Core Values, students build models using LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 and create Show Me posters to present what they learned. The program focuses on building interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through a real-world challenge – to be solved by research, critical thinking, and imagination.
Main Coach of I.C.E.A. FIRST LEGO League Jr:
Ms. Wang, graduated from Stanford University majoring in Computer Science, is currently working for OCZ Storage Solutions as a principal firmware engineer. She is also a science enthusiast and she believes that the fun science experiments for kids will significantly develop their skills at goal-setting, planning, and problem-solving and it also nurtures intellectual curiosity, helping kids acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world. She has 3 years of First Lego Jr Coach experience.
