Hannah Xie
Hannah Xie is a junior at Stanford Online High School, with an interest in business and finance, and a student at Brigham Young University’s Independent Studies program. Exploring these interests led to Co-founding BECA, a coalition educating adolescents in the fields of business, economics, computation, and the arts in addition to becoming her school’s Yearbook Copy Editor. She has been playing piano for more than ten years, receiving the Certificate of Merit’s State Honor for completing the Advanced level. Hannah began ice skating when she was four years old and is currently a member of Team USA for a second year with Los Angeles Ice Theater; the team placed second nationally and fourth internationally. In addition, she is a Senior Instructor at Hello Languages — teaching children internationally for more than two years. As a result of her love for graphic design, Hannah was Public Relations Co-Head for Innoverge and currently creates Instagram posts for Hello Languages, BusinesswithHer, and BECA.

Esther Jou
Esther Jou is a 11th grader at Acaciawood Prep in Anaheim and a USCF Expert with a peak rating of 2163. She is a competitive chess player and has many accomplishments, Esther is also team member of ICEA Chess Team for 2023 SoCal. SuperStates Championship and won the top female in K-12 championship and is nominated to represent Southern California in the WIM Ruth Haring National Tournament of Girls State Champions. Esther has been serving as ICEA Coach since 2022.

Alex Wang
Alex Wang is a 11th grader at Corona Del Mar high school and a National Master with a peak USCF rating of 2273. Other hobbies that he likes to do are ping-pong and reading. He enjoys sharing his understanding of chess with others. Alex is also the captain of ICEA Chess Team for 2023 SoCal. SuperStates Championship and lead the team won the 1st place of K-12 Championship.

Sarah Zhang
Sarah Zhang has been a dedicated volunteer at ICEA’s Mandarin Musical Theater program since her junior year of high school, contributing by writing articles to promote the program in local magazines. In 2024, her hard work and determination paid off as she earned early admission to her dream school, Yale University.

Cindy Lin
Cindy Lin served as a math coach with ICEA, instructing Pre-Algebra during her 10th-grade years in both 2020 and 2021. Her valuable contributions were acknowledged by the ICEA organization, contributing to her successful admission to Princeton University in 2023.
