Math Kangaroo Preparation 2021 [3rd – 4th & 5th – 6th Grade]

Class Description

  • We will expand our knowledge about math together!
  • We will help prepare for the Math Kangaroo competition!
  • We will teach classes about various subjects!
  • We will provide free practice problems and homework!
  • We will provide a free practice worksheet every week after the class until the contest!

NOTE: 3rd – 4th Grade & 5th – 6th Grade share the same topic teaching at the first 40 minutes, and then we will have two breakout rooms to work on questions/problems respectively for the last 40 minutes (after a 10 minute break)

Price: $80 / 8 classes (1 and half hour for each class)

 

How to Register Math Kangaroo 2021

Please follow up this instruction to register Math Kangaroo National Competition 2021. (The deadline is Dec 15th, 2020)

Note:

  1. The online instruction will be sent out after booking.
  2. All registration is not refundable.
  3. No makeups will be provided.
  4. Math Kangaroo 2021 registration is not required for booking this class, but highly recommended.

About Coach Dedian:

Dedian, graduated from Institute of Mathematics, Fudan University and USC Viterbi School of Engineering in Computer Science. He is passionate about kids math education (such as hosting Math Kangaroo Training Camp for kids who love math) and volunteering to coach kids who participate I.C.E.A. Incubator for Kids programs.

 

About Teacher William: 

William is an eighth grader at Manhattan Beach Middle School. He likes reading and doing competition math in his spare time. He has led the Manhattan Beach Middle School Mathcounts Team to the state level twice, and is a four-time national winner of the Math Kangaroo contest. He mastered multiple computer programming languages. He is also a green belt taekwondo student, and is proficient at playing tennis. He has been presenting and acting as an admin in the ICEA Global Air Learning program. He hopes to share his knowledge and dedication with the ICEA community.

 

 

About Teacher Hao:

Hao is a 6th grader at Manhattan Beach Middle School, he is passionate about math. Hao has participated in multiple contests. He won the first place in Manhattan beach whole district elementary Math Olympiad individual competition. In addition, he is the only one who finished 30 minutes test in 13 minutes and got full Score.  Hao loves math and loves to share with his friends, he is willing to help more kids to love math.
