Class Goal:
This class it to provide kids with 101 knowledge about web technologies. Children will learn to use web tools to build their personal website to present their profiles on the Internet. ICEA will provide an option for them to host their website on ICEA servers for free.
Recommended Age: 9 – 12

About Teacher: Jerry
Jerry is a 10th grader. He is the top programmer at the school robotics team for FRC. He is a member of the school coding club, and is preparing for the AP computer science class. Besides coding, he also likes math, he won awards in Math competitions like the AMC and MathCounts, being in the top 5% in AMC 8. During the summer time of COVID, he enrolled in a summer program to learn algorithms for big data and machine learning with a CMU professor. In his free time, he likes to run and play tennis, and of course experiment with web technologies.
About Coach
Dedian, graduated from Institute of Mathematics, Fudan University and USC Viterbi School of Engineering in Computer Science, is currently working for Snap Inc. as an engineering manager. He is passionate about kids education (such as hosting Math Kangaroo Training Camp for kids who love math) and volunteering to coach kids who participate I.C.E.A. Incubator for Kids programs.
