Schedule

Week 1 (July 18-22) – Zootopia《瘋狂動物城》or Little Chick says “NO”《愛說“不”的叫叫》or Green eggs and ham 《綠雞蛋和火腿》

Age: 4 & up

Week 2 (July 25-29) – The Wizard of Oz《綠野仙踪》or Matilda《瑪蒂爾達》

Age: 7 & up

Week 3 (August 1-5) – Stationary Rhapsody《書桌狂想曲》(original play)

Age: 7 & up

Each camp day will include Acting, Improv, Theater Games, Singing, Vocal Training, Dance, Crafts and more.

On the last day of each camp session, parents will be invited to watch the camp performance. We will also record the performance and send it to all the families involved. 

Time 

Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm. Extended hours available upon request. Afternoon camps/classes TBA.

  • Drop off: 8:50-9:00
  • Pick up: 12:50-1:00

A Sample Day

9:00–9:15 Greetings, Theater Games and Warm Up

9:30–10:30 Mandarin Musical theater class (Choreography, Vocal Rehearsal, Acting)

10:30–10:45 Break

10:45–11:45 Mandarin Musical theater class, Rehearsals for Camp Performance

11:45–12:15 Lunch (campers bring their own lunches)

12:15–01:00 Crafts (Props and costumes design)

Camper-to-Staff Ratio

One staff member for every five campers. 

Cancellation policy

Full refund minus $50 processing fee on any cancellation made before cancellation deadlines. Or choose to receive a full credit toward other camp programs or future classes in ICEA. No refunds will be permitted for any cancellation made less than two weeks prior to the first day of each camp session, only exchange to another week’s camp will be accepted.

Price

  • Regular price: $300/week, 2nd Child $270/week 
  • Early Bird price: $270/week, 2nd Child $250/week 

(discounts available when enrolling for multiple sessions or multiple children -Contact info@icea1.org to get discount)

Notes:

  1. The location address will be sent out in booking confirmation email as well as shown up in the top of this page.
  2. Mask might be required for the in-person classes based on pandemic status.

About Teacher Paula

Teacher Paula graduated from Shanghai Music Conservatory. She is a famous chorus conductor and Musical Theatre director. She used to lead different chorus groups to win awards locally and internationally. She directed and produced a number of original musical theatres for youth and won the National Cultural and Creative Fund. She is also a founder of non-profit Music and Drama Development Center.
