Class Description
Are you interested in learning Mandarin but struggling to find the right program? Look no further! Learning Mandarin @ICEA is the perfect fit for you.
Our class is tailored for students who already possess a basic understanding of Mandarin and wish to enhance their language skills. We utilize the highly regarded RenJiaoBuBian textbook as the foundation of our curriculum, with a specific emphasis on developing eloquence.
Our experienced and qualified instructors will guide you through the Mandarin language, teaching you grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Through interactive lessons and engaging exercises, you will develop your language skills and gain confidence in your ability to speak Mandarin.

About Renjiaobubian Chinese 《人教部编版语文课程》
国内小学语文部编版教材简介：本系列教材由教育部直接负责编辑，选入部编版中的篇章具有深厚的人文精神内涵，体现了情感教育要求。该教材突出了语文教学的学科性和科学性，符合小学生的认知发展规律，体现了语文学科核心素养的培养要求。主要的教学方法：直观法、对比法、归纳法、情景导入法和全身反应教学法（TPR）。
教学内容：选取经典儿歌、古诗和篇章，课程与国内小学生同步。教师按照循序渐进的原则开展生字教学，小学生通过对比、知识迁移等进行学习和记忆。课程主要强化认读识字，辅以中国文化教学，同时通过增加阅读指导部分和写作专题部分，有利于学生逐步掌握阅读方法及写作方法，使孩子们在课上了解故事、创造性地复述故事，使孩子们初步了解写作方法和写作技巧。
About Chuanchuan Laoshi:
任课教师川川老师是中美双硕士，毕业于国内双一流大学——中央民族大学,所学专业为汉语国际教育专业;毕业于波特兰州立大学,所学专业为课程设计与教学。拥有汉语国际教师资格证,国内高中语文教师资格证,高中英语教师资格证。
Graduated both from Minzu University of China and Portland State University, Chuanchuan Laoshi holds two university degrees in Chinese International Education and Curriculum Design and Teaching. She possess the Chinese International Teacher Qualification Certificate, the Domestic High School Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate, and the Senior High School English Teacher Qualification Certificate.
About Teacher Gu Yu:
谷雨老师，播音与主持艺术专业，拥有普通话一级乙等证书、国际汉语教师证书。优选文化传媒（北京）有限公司宣传部实习工作者，曾参加多个实践项目。在线上教育平台担任少儿讲师，并深度参与口才朗诵课的教学研发工作，具有一定的线上教学/课程研发经验。对待小朋友耐心温柔，课堂风格生动活泼，授课认真负责，家长满意度高。
Teacher Gu Yu, majoring in broadcasting and hosting art, has a first-class Mandarin certificate and a certificate for international Chinese teachers. An intern worker in the Propaganda Department of Youyou Culture Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and has participated in many practical projects. Served as a children’s lecturer on the online education platform, and deeply participated in the teaching research and development of the eloquence recitation class, and has certain experience in online teaching/course development. Treat children with patience and gentleness, the classroom style is lively and lively, the teaching is serious and responsible, and the parents’ satisfaction is high.
