Description
In this 4 days Chorus Camp, Singers from all musical backgrounds will learn how to sing healthfully while exploring music, movement and rhythm.
Students will pay musical games, participate rhythmic activities, develop strong vocal technique in a choral setting, improve musicianship, work on performance etiquette, develop and refine pitch matching skills, music reading skills and musical expression. Students will sing two beautiful Chinese songs 《你笑起来真好看》and 《梨花又开放》. They will have chance to perform during Chinese Lunar New Year Events in 2022. This is a Mandarin immersion program and the teacher will give class in Mandarin most of the time.

- We require all participants to submit either proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test (taken within 72 hours of the camp hours).

About ICEA Children’s Chorus
ICEA Children’s Chorus is an immersive Mandarin choral music education program for children and youth who love to sing. Singers receive instruction in musicianship through performing a varied multiligual repertoire of high quality, age-appropriate music. Singers learn to sing with others and alone, participate in musical activities which instill correct posture, breathing, voice production while developing pitch matching, rhythmic skills, and training musical memory.
About Teacher Paula
Teacher Paula graduated from Shanghai Music Conservatory. She is a
famous chorus conductor and Musical Theatre director. She used to lead different chorus groups to win awards locally and internationally. She directed and produced a number of original musical theatres for youth and won the National Cultural and Creative Fund. She is also a founder of non-profit Music and Drama Development Center.
