About Speaker Prof. Yong Liu

Professor Liu got his bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University in 1994. Later he got his PHD from University of New Hampshire in physics. He went back to China and became a professor in National space science center in 2011. His major contribution is solar physics, but became interested in introductive scientific talk in recent year. He gave about 40 speeches to school students each year since 2019. He was awarded Chinese Aerospace Propagation Ambassador in 2020 and published more than 20 scientific articles and two books.
