Seminar Description

Professor Loh will give an in-depth talk about how to cultivate children’s mathematical thinking based on his own experience, and how to help children stand out and grasp the growth period of children’s golden thinking and other topics of concern to parents. Professor Loh will provide additional 30 minutes Q&A to answer parents’s questions or concerns about mathematics or children education.

 

About Dr. Po-Shen Loh

Po-Shen Loh is the founder of NOVID and expii.org, a professor of mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University and the national coach of the United States’ International Math Olympiad team. Under his coaching, the team won the competition in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019—their first victories since 1994. He also had previously won a silver medal for the US as a participant in 1999.
