- Explore the Magic Tree House books together!
- We will read together and dive into the characters and their travels around the world.
- We will discuss the plot of the story and all their adventures and make connections with our own lives.
- Children are encouraged to participate in group discussions. “Juicy” words are part of the discovery of what we are searching for as we read.
- We will then become creative writers about what we have discussed, also be inspired to write/illustrate our own stories based on group discussions or through ideas developed by listening to others or our own ideas in our heads.
- Children are then invited to share their work, as well as continue onward for homework, to share the next day.
