Class Description
Students will learn how to create and write short stories. They will learn about the basic structure of fiction writing, it’s core elements and how to incorporate them in their own creations. Every session, the students will learn a specific skill and be able to apply it to their own freestyle writing. The students will have time to choose a topic and create a story for every meeting.
Recommended Level: 4th – 6th Grade

- All students will be invited to join a google classroom before the class begins.

About Teacher Ms. Rachael
Rachael has been an educator for over 12 years. She currently teaches fifth grade in Aurora, Colorado. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Spanish at Colgate University. She received her masters in elementary education from Johns Hopkins University. Rachael is passionate about educating children and believes that every child can be successful with the right amount of support and resources. In her spare time, she likes to read, play Harry Potter trivia and bake treats from scratch.
